Natalia and Rolando met in London in 2005 while working for Foster + Partners. In subsequent years they also collaborated with Rafael Viñoly Architects, Zaha Hadid Architects and with Ateliers Jean Nouvel which adds up to more than 25 years of experience in the some of the best architectural practices worldwide.

Among other projects they were involved in the design of the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum with Jean Nouvel, the mixed-use Galaxy and Wangjing SOHO developments in Beijing with Zaha Hadid Architects;   the corporate tower 20 Fenchurch Street in London with Rafael Viñoly; the headcuarters of the China Citic Bank in Hangzhou as well as the City of Justice campus in Madrid with Foster + Partners.

In 2018, Rolando and Natalia co-founded AIDIA STUDIO, an architecture and design workshop based in London and Mexico City. The studio works in multiple typologies and across scales. AIDIA STUDIO has been a special guest at the Beijing Design Week, 100% Design in London, and Gdynia Design Days. In 2018 the studio was nominated for the Best Interior Design by the Interior Design Magazine in New York and in 2019 the studio won first prize on the international design competition for the Museum of Modern Arab Art in Sharjah, UAE. For this prize the studio was awarded the Rifat Chadirji Prize for excellence in Architecture. In 2020 the studio won the bid for the design of the Tulum Train Station as part of the Train Maya rail project in Mexico.
